Position Overview : Ocala Psychology is seeking a Florida licensed psychologist ( PhD, PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology ) to join our growing group practice . Post-Doctoral Residents

are also welcome to apply. We are currently recruiting clinicians who provide psychotherapy to adults.

They enjoy professional autonomy, communicate clearly, and are comfortable using (or quickly learning) electronic health record systems such as Simple Practice.

Reports to : Practice Owner, Dr. Alexandra Zimbleman, Licensed Psychologist

Duties/Responsibilities : Provide on-site clinical services to patients of Ocala Psychology in accordance with established policies. Maintain reliable attendance and punctual arrival. Hold and maintain an active Florida psychologist license and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethics codes. Respond to patient inquiries within 24 hours (phone, email, voicemail, or portal). Coordinate care with other providers (e.g., PCPs, psychiatrists) as clinically appropriate. Complete timely and accurate documentation for each patient, including intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, and termination summaries. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Attend required staff meetings and trainings. Represent Ocala Psychology in a professional manner to preserve and enhance the practice’s reputation. Demonstrate collegiality, respect, and collaboration with team members. Full-Time staff must maintain a caseload of

25 sessions per week , with availability for

30 open appointment slots . Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills : Alignment with Ocala Psychology’s mission and values. Punctuality and reliability are essential. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHRs) effectively, including navigating scheduling, progress notes, and telehealth features is expected. Prior experience with SimplePractice EHR or the ability to learn it quickly is required. Doctoral degree

in counseling or clinical psychology. Active, unrestricted Florida psychologist license. Post-Doctoral Residents are encouraged to apply. Available to maintain a minimum caseload of 25 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Ocala Psychology. Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and formulating diagnoses in accordance with DSM-5 standards. Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Prior experience providing outpatient evidence-based individual therapy with adults is highly preferred. Current approval as an in-network provider with BCBS, Aetna, and/or United HealthCare is highly preferred but not required.

Benefits (for Full-Time Employees) W-2 employment with a competitive bonus structure ranging from

$52–$90 per clinical hour , based on weekly session volume and licensure status. Paid onboarding stipend. Clinicians are expected to average

25 sessions per week for at least 48 weeks each year , but otherwise have autonomy in structuring their workday and may take time off or leave early when not seeing clients. Flexible scheduling options with the option to work remotely one day per week for telehealth sessions. Full administrative support for insurance credentialing, billing, and scheduling. Consistent referrals and comprehensive marketing services are provided to help you build and maintain a full caseload. Beautiful furnished office space; break room with kitchenette; ample free onsite parking. Health insurance stipend. Twice-monthly staff clinical consultation meetings. Group malpractice insurance is covered by Ocala Psychology. Fees paid for membership in one professional organization. State of Florida Licensing Fees paid by the practice. Individual and Group supervision is provided to Post-Doctoral Residents by a licensed psychologist.
