MST Program (205103) - Georgetown, TX 78626 Overview Position Type:
Full Time Regular Job Summary The Community based therapist is responsible for providing Multi Systemic Therapy services per the model through ongoing support and training on the MST model. The MST Therapist must maintain a flexible work schedule that will include working primarily afternoons and evenings, some weekends and will be included in an on‑call rotation.
Essential Functions
Provide direct clinical treatment using the MST treatment model and principles
Conduct assessments of the client and family informing the conceptualization of the behaviors to be addressed via a goal‑oriented treatment plan
Will provide therapeutic services in a home and community‑based environment
Actively participate as part of the therapy team.
Participate in ongoing MST training and consultation and case planning
Assist families by actively referring them to appropriate services and supports.
Assist families with both clinical and concrete services.
Perform data entry related to clients in a timely manner as directed by the MST supervisor
Perform basic accountability tasks related to the job, which include compiling and maintain all necessary records.
Regular and punctual attendance.
Collaborate with stakeholders, both external in the community (schools, Probation, service providers, etc.) and within the funding agency
Deliver MST services to a caseload of up to 6 families, as required to address program needs
Participate in a 24 hours on‑call schedule alternating with other team members
Will work with a diverse population
Will work remotely most of the time except for team supervision and as needed due to program needs

Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field from a four‑year college or university with minimum of two years of experience working in services for families and/or youth or Master’s Degree in clinical or counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related subject area. Professional licensure as LPC‑Associate, LMFT‑Associate, or LMSW under clinical supervision required, full licensure as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Ability and willingness to work with families in their own homes
Flexibility to work when families are available including evenings and weekends.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Strong clinical skills
Ability to adapt and individualize program interventions to utilize family strengths and skills.
Skill in handling multiple tasks and meeting multiple deadlines.
Valid Driver’s License, maintain current insurance and registration and clear driving record.
Clear result from a criminal background check.
Clear drug screen results from the organization’s designated medical facility.
Physical Demands Must be able to obtain First Aid Certification (CPR). Must be able to drive and sit for extended periods of time. Daily use of various office equipment. Bending, stooping, climbing up stairs and lifting to 15 lbs. required to complete daily tasks.
Work Environment This is a program that requires daily contact with clients in their homes, and other community‑based settings at varying hours of the day including evening and night hours. Remote work (personal home office) setting is required to be provided by staff at their own expense. Staff must be able to maintain confidentiality of client records in their home office and must be able to participate in confidential conversations in this work environment. Work environment must be conducive to productivity and confidentiality with limited distractions. Work environment must be able to be monitored by supervisor periodically to ensure appropriate confidentiality of client records and work products. Work shifts are subject to change. Staff will be required to maintain their personal vehicle in good working order and may require extended periods of time in an automobile. Exposed to prevalent weather conditions.
