$19.00 - $24.00 Hourly Primary Purpose:
The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying incoming goods against purchase orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Key duties include receiving and inspecting unloading shipments; processing paperwork like bills of lading; and using an ERP system to record transactions. The role also involves coordinating with other departments, addressing discrepancies, and performing general warehouse tasks such as operating equipment and maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities
Inspect incoming shipments for damage, and verify quantities against invoices or packing slips. Enter received goods into the ERP system, organize and store items, and conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Conduct trace and recall procedures; assist in mock trace and recalls for audit purposes Process all shipping and receiving documents, including bills of lading, and ensure all paperwork is accurate and filed correctly. Work with buying teams and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming shipments. Process vendor nonconformance and return paperwork. Communicate with other departments like sales and production control regarding schedules and potential issues that may affect deliveries. Prepare outgoing shipments, generate shipping documents, and coordinate with carriers and logistics providers for outbound shipments Handle customer inquiries related to inventory or shipping. Qualifications
Education, Qualities and Skills Required: Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt to new software and technology. Attention to detail. Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects. Experience using warehouse or inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is often preferred. Supervisory Responsibility
No direct supervision required. Work Environment
Typical office working environment which includes a workstation equipped with a computer and other office supplies necessary for daily tasks. Typically climate-controlled to provide a comfortable working temperature year-round. Lighting is usually a mix of natural and artificial sources to ensure sufficient lamination. Some hours will be spent in the plant/warehouse environment with temps ranging from 30-40 degrees to obtain samples. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time hourly position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Expectations of 45 hours per week, to be worked during normal business hours. Physical Requirements
Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstation. Typing: Frequent use of hands to type on a keyboard and operate a computer mouse. Visual Requirements: Extended periods of viewing a computer screen and reading printed or digital documents. Mobility: Occasional walking or standing, including moving between different areas of the office, plant and warehouse. Manual Dexterity: The ability to handle office equipment, such as phones, printers, and copiers, and to file documents. Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues, clients, and vendors. Lifting: Occasionally lifting and carrying light objects, typically up to 25 pounds, such as boxes, cheese, files, documents, or office supplies. Reaching and Bending: Reaching above shoulder height and bending to access files and office supplies. Hearing: Adequate hearing ability to participate in meetings and teleconferences. The budgeted salary range for this position is $19 - $24 per hour.
