Overview
Teller I - Washington Twp - Hurfville Rd (20hrs) TD Securities is hiring a Teller I at the Washington Township location. This role focuses on delivering Legendary Customer Experiences through accurate and efficient everyday banking transactions, while educating customers on TD’s products and services or referring them to partners for specialized solutions. Responsibilities
Execute TD's Brand promise by delivering a Legendary Customer experience in the Store. Perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments with efficiency. Process cash transactions (cash handling, currency verification, balancing cash drawer, night deposits) with high accuracy. Respond to and resolve customer inquiries using standard procedures; escalate to management as needed. Engage in lobby leadership by guiding customer flow, greeting customers warmly, and directing them appropriately. Understand customer preferences and educate on self-service/digital options that meet their needs. Advocate for customers by discussing needs-based financial and digital solutions or referring to appropriate partners. Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution; escalate more complex issues as required. Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act) to minimize risk. Verify customer identities per authentication policies and procedures. Balance cash drawers, ATMs, and Teller Cash Recyclers as necessary. Adhere to safe deposit box procedures and maintain appropriate cash limits; secure cash at all times. Protect confidential customer information and follow dual control and security/audit measures to minimize potential loss. Utilize bank tools to detect, address, and prevent fraud. Complete required in-classroom and online training by established due dates. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. 6 months of related experience preferred; or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. Ability to work during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled. Demonstrated customer service skills; strong organizational skills; detail-oriented. Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment; excellent communication skills. Physical and Travel Requirements
Defined physical requirements with typical activity levels. Domestic travel – Occasional; International travel – None. Performing sedentary work – Frequent; multi-tasking – Continuous; basic office equipment operation – Continuous.
