What you’ll experience as a Business Development Representative with ChemoMetec Inc. Located in Cambridge, MA, ChemoMetec offers an extraordinary opportunity to develop a career in Biotech in the Life Sciences capital of the US. In this role, you’ll build strong sales and customer engagement & relationship building skills that will serve as a solid foundation for your future career. You will be given full responsibility for your designated region and, from day one, will co-define the plans and direction for your area in collaboration with your supervisor.

What you’ll be doing as a BDR:

Seek, create, and develop new business opportunities by creating a virtual network of researchers in the life science community on LinkedIn

Research & engage with company drug pipelines and scientific platforms and develop an understanding of how ChemoMetec’s technology can meet specific needs

Craft engaging emails and execute cold calling campaigns that clearly showcase ChemoMetec’s value proposition to drive lead generation

Facilitate & participate in meetings with prospects to understand their settings and convey how our technology could play into it

Collaborate with sales team members on developing and executing commercial strategies

Maintain & contribute to accurate records in our CRM system and effectively utilize past data in outreach activities

Represent ChemoMetec at in-person events such as summits, conferences & events with relevant stakeholders to increase brand awareness and generate leads “in the field”

Someone who is curious minded and has an ongoing desire to understand both the industry, cell biology, our products, and most importantly our customers’ developing needs.

Minimum bachelor’s degree in biology or related Life Science subject or a Business Development degree (Required)

Ability to write well‑crafted emails

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Experience with a CRM like Zoho is a plus, but not essential

Experience with LinkedIn Prospecting through Sales Navigator is a plus, but not essential

Customer service experience, e.g., retail, healthcare or food industry (Preferred)

Is curious minded and have an ongoing desire to understand both the industry, cell biology, our products, and most importantly our customers’ developing needs.
