Talent Acquisition Specialist at Familylinks As a Supports Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in locating, coordinating, and monitoring support services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or Autism. You'll work closely with families and caregivers to ensure that each person receives the necessary resources and support to thrive. Supports Coordinator Responsibilities
All essential duties and responsibilities are completed within regulatory timeframe
Complete timely and thorough documentation after each contact/service provided
Meet productively goals and report accurately per departmental policy
As requested, assist in emergency situations
Attend supervision/meetings/training as requested/required
Accurately record time and attendance via HRIS and Timekeeping system
Document and report monthly expenses accurately and within agency policy expectations
Model the organization's mission and values
Other duties as assigned
Supports Coordinator Requirements
Bachelor's degree, which includes or is supplemented by at least 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social science*
OR 2 or more years' experience as a County Social Service Aide 3 and two years of college level course work, which include at least 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social service*
OR Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social service* and 1 or more years of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 or similar position performing paraprofessional case management functions**
OR A combination of 12 college credits in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social science and two years' professional experience in developmental disabilities, special education, mental health, counseling psychology, school psychology, social work or health and rehabilitative services
A valid driver's license along with access to a vehicle
Proficiency with MS Office, computer/laptop, tablet and cell phone required
Working Conditions
Flexible scheduling may be required
Must be able to travel to the various office and community locations
Work will be completed remotely at home, within the office, or other community location
Maintaining HIPAA compliance
Ability to lift and carry light boxes of files and supplies (less than 10 pounds) on occasion. A limited amount of walking and standing may be necessary in carrying out duties.
