Overview & Responsibilities Provide Technical Training on Ebara Elliott Energy (EEE) products, including:
Steam turbines
Centrifugal compressors
Lube & seal systems
Hot gas expanders
Deliver training:
Internally to EEE employees
Occasionally externally to customers
Develop and maintain training programs by creating high-quality training content that can be used both internally and externally.
Enable EEE to:
Offer a broader range of training programs to the market
Provide improved training to employees
Be responsible for:
Updating and designing training materials
Conducting training for customers and employees
Coordinating site training classes for repair center employees
Relocation assistance within the United States is available for this opportunity.
Specific Job Responsibilities
Acquire an understanding of:
EEE organization
Product lines
Procedures
Service facilities
Manufacturing facility and methods
Continually update training materials to reflect improvements or changes in product lines, including:
Presentations
Manuals for all EEE products
Work internally with Technical Service Engineers to understand training needs.
Help design new training courses and modify existing courses for improved impact.
Create ideas and materials that effectively communicate knowledge while maintaining customer attention.
Determine appropriate depth of material coverage to maximize training effectiveness within the allotted time.
Evaluate, justify, and order new models to support training programs.
Photograph equipment, parts, and classes for training advertising and materials.
Update training materials, including:
PowerPoint presentations
Manuals
Review Service Engineering Bulletins to identify technical training issues.
Track repair center employee training records and continuously update completion records.
Ensure all training documentation is maintained for audit purposes.
Conduct semi-annual reviews of repair center employee records to identify training deficiencies and schedule corrective actions.
Background and Experience
BS degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in rotating equipment training activities.
Strong background in rotating equipment is required.
Experience in:
Training
Program development
Project management
Preferred experience in:
Maintenance
Operations
Components
Troubleshooting of steam turbines and compressors
Strong skills required in:
Verbal and written communication
Organization
Computer usage
Computer experience should include:
PowerPoint
MS Word
Excel
Lotus Notes
Familiarity with EEE products is expected.
Ideal candidate must possess sufficient technical or mechanical ability to:
Grasp complex ideas
Organize them into easily understood presentations, illustrations, and/or written descriptions
Classroom presentation training ability is mandatory.
