Position: Service Advisor

Position Description The Service Advisor is Lebanon Ford's first-line customer relation and service sales representative. Ensure the proper satisfaction of customer and vehicle related problems, meeting pre-determined service sales objectives and the thorough and accurate performance of designated administrative duties.
Qualifications
High school diploma or the equivalent.
ASE certified
Excellent communication skills and investigative skills
Valid and clean driver's license
Enjoy working with people
Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repairs
Knowledge of dealership computer systems
Strong mechanical aptitude
Experience as a Service Advisor in an auto dealership or a related business
Professional personal appearance
Proven sales skills a must
Ability to meet company's production and quality standards
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing: background check and drug test
Job Responsibilities
Follow corporate objectives with regard to profitability and customer satisfaction
Promptly meet and greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner
Provide an accurate estimate for all services and repairs sold
Personally turn all complaints over to the Service Manager and Parts Manager that cannot be satisfied by the Service Advisor
Sell the proper repairs and/or services that meet the customer's needs
Obtain accurate parts and labor prices using the appropriate price source
Provide an estimate to every customer at the time of write-up
Obtain the customer's written approval on all Repair Orders at the time of write-up
Obtain properly documented telephone approval for all add-on sales when the customer is not at the store
Meet or exceed sales objectives as set by management
Answer incoming telephone calls promptly, courteously and make every effort to satisfy the caller's inquiry
Maintain communication with the technical staff regarding job status changes
Remain continuously posted on the Service Dept. work load to determine what kind of work the shop can quickly accommodate
Inform the sales department of potential used vehicle sales customers
Follow up on the following day's appointments
Perform specific administrative functions as directed by management
Contact the customer upon completion of their vehicle
Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale
Attend company meetings as required
