Region Materials Manager
to join our team! The Region Materials Manager is responsible for providing the direction to the Region relating to materials and inventory supply chain.

What you will be doing:
Responsible for material management-related work processes: requisitioning, purchasing, expediting, transportation, receiving within the Region.
Generates reports, documents, spreadsheets, databases, graphs to report to the branches on inventory performance.
Works with occasional supervisory review of progress and results.
Has some influence on whether new policies should be developed/applied.
Applies in-depth professional knowledge to solve moderate and complex supply chain problems.
Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices.
Develops models to address specific business needs and problems.
If working on a team, often coordinates, schedules and/or assigns work to materials associates.
May be responsible for writing performance evaluations, recruiting, coaching, and training lower-level incumbents.
Acquisition stream lead.
Pursues learning and knowledge within and outside current skill set.
Investigates problems, develops contingencies and is innovative in developing, selecting, and implementing appropriate solutions.
Frequently interfaces with location personnel, sub region management and sales staff, as well as, across many different departments throughout the organization.
Manage the progressive payment projects for the Region.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
5+ years inventory management, logistics, procurement
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Ability to operate with minimal supervision in a complex environment
Ability to travel up to 30%
Industry experience preferred
