About The Role
This position is best-suited for a creative and detail-oriented graphic designer and web developer. This role is perfect for someone early in their design career who’s ready to learn, grow, and support the creation of high-quality visual assets for automotive dealership clients. As a Junior Graphic Designer, you’ll assist in creating digital assets such as web graphics, banner ads, email layouts, and other marketing visuals. You’ll work closely with designers, developers, and account managers to produce creative assets — all while learning how to work within brand guidelines, compliance standards, and our internal creative processes. This is an in-office position with hands‑on mentorship, regular collaboration, and strong opportunities for growth.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in graphic design, or a recent graduate in graphic design, digital media, or a related field with a strong portfolio
Strong understanding of graphic design principles including layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy
Basic knowledge of front‑end web development (HTML and CSS) is preferred, but not required
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Ability to create designs that align with brand standards, compliance requirements, and co‑op/legal guidelines
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality, polished work
Ability to take feedback, meet deadlines, and contribute as part of a collaborative design team
Responsibilities
Design web graphics, banner ads, email layouts, and other digital marketing materials for automotive dealership clients
Support the design and development team with asset creation for websites, social media, and email campaigns
Follow brand guidelines and ensure all creative assets meet OEM compliance, co‑op, and legal standards
Collaborate with senior designers, developers, and account managers to bring creative concepts to life
Prepare and export graphics in appropriate file formats and sizes for web and mobile use
Ensure all designs are responsive and visually effective across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
Assist with editing and updating existing creative assets as needed
Manage multiple design tasks at once, balancing quality with timeliness

Has a strong foundation in graphic design and is excited to apply their skills in a real‑world, fast‑paced marketing environment
Is a recent graduate or early‑career designer with a passion for clean, effective, and on‑brand digital design
Is eager to learn and grow, open to feedback, and proactive about developing their skills
Has a sharp eye for detail and takes pride in producing polished, high‑quality work
Enjoys collaborating with others and contributing to a supportive, creative team
Is interested in digital marketing and understands how design impacts user experience and business goals
Can balance multiple tasks and deadlines while staying organized and maintaining a high standard of work
Is comfortable working within brand guidelines and understands the importance of compliance and consistency in design
The First 90 Days
You’ll be immersed in learning the creative processes and workflows that drive our design team at Make & Model Marketing. With support from senior designers and our Art Director, you’ll gain a strong foundation in how we create effective, on‑brand digital assets for our automotive dealership clients.
Shadowing members of our design team and Art Director to observe how creative assets are planned, designed, reviewed, and delivered.
Learn how creative tasks move through our internal systems and how to manage project timelines and priorities.
Start applying your design skills to real projects with guidance, learning how to adapt your style to meet client and brand expectations.
Gain a solid understanding of the design standards we follow, including accuracy, OEM brand guidelines, compliance requirements, and co‑op rules.
Begin taking ownership of smaller design tasks while continuing to develop your skills and understanding of how design contributes to our larger marketing goals.
By the end of your first 90 days, you’ll be ready to contribute independently to the design process, creating clean, effective assets that meet both client expectations and internal standards.
Compensation And Benefits
Your final compensation will be determined by your experience level and skillset.
Compensation is reviewed every 6 months.
