
LBAPS is seeking an experiencedDirector of Legal Activities (Attorney or Paralegal) to oversee all legal, compliance, and regulatory operations. The Director will work closely with leadership to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and ethical standards within our behavioral health organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance, contracts, and risk management activities.
- Draft, review, and maintain legal documents and agreements.
- Advise leadership on legal obligations and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with external counsel and regulatory agencies.
- Implement and monitor internal compliance programs.
Qualifications
- J.D. (Attorney) or Paralegal Certification with extensive legal experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in legal or compliance roles preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare, employment, or corporate law preferred.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Licensed to practice in New York (if applicable).
