About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary AI Monetization & Business Development Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and scaling of revenue-generating initiatives in our AI product portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and customer trust—turning cutting-edge AI capabilities into sustainable and profitable business models while ensuring robust data security, privacy, and governance practices.

You will own the monetization strategy for new AI-driven products, identify market opportunities, form strategic partnerships, and ensure that our AI commercialization aligns with the highest standards of data protection and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Monetization Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies for AI products and services.
  • Partner with Finance, Marketing, and Product teams to align commercial goals with customer needs and compliance requirements.
  • Identify, Develop and test comprehensive AI monetization models that align with overall business objectives (models (e.g., subscription, usage-based, tiered offerings, API licensing).
  • Conduct market research, industry trends and competitive analysis to inform monetization and business development initiatives.

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Build relationships with ecosystem players including data providers, AI infrastructure partners, and distribution channels.
  • Manage joint go-to-market activities with strategic partners, ensuring all agreements meet security and governance standards.
  • Lead discussions with clients, understanding their needs and pain points, and presenting compelling AI solutions and value propositions.

Data Security & Governance

  • Collaborate with Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure monetization strategies adhere to global data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to data privacy, intellectual property, and AI ethics in new business opportunities.
  • Promote trust and transparency in AI solutions through responsible data usage and governance practices.

Market Intelligence & Growth

  • Conduct market research to assess competitive landscape, customer needs, and emerging trends in AI commercialization.
  • Analyze usage data, customer feedback, and industry benchmarks to refine monetization approaches.
  • Present growth forecasts and business cases to senior leadership.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Drive alignment between product roadmaps, monetization strategies, and governance policies.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure monetization is integrated into product design from the outset.
  • Collaborate with AI specialists, data scientists, and engineers to understand the capabilities and limitations of AI technologies.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 15 years’ experience with 3+ years in new product monetization at scale, business development, or strategic partnerships—ideally in AI, SaaS, or advanced tech sectors.
  • Exposure to Semiconductor and/or EDA is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, markets, and regulatory considerations.
  • Data-driven decision-making with the ability to translate analytics into actionable strategies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in data security frameworks, governance models, and compliance requirements for AI/data-driven products.
  • Familiarity with privacy-preserving AI techniques.
  • Global business development experience with multi-jurisdictional data compliance.
