Wedgwood Presbyterian Church, Seattle: Director of Christian Education and Outreach

Wedgwood Presbyterian Church in Seattle is seeking a Director of Christian Education and Outreach on a half-time basis in our theologically progressive congregation as we follow the Spirit’s leading in an emerging ministry with Spanish-speaking children and families in our neighborhood. The focus of the position will be twofold: to lead our ongoing ministry with children and youth and to develop a component of intentional community outreach with local schools and community organizations. Ideally we are looking for an individual who is bilingual and a proficient communicator in Spanish and English who will:

• guide, develop and implement our programs for children and youth,
• help us build more connections for service in our neighborhood and community,
• foster the congregation in their endeavor to learn from our community partners and neighbors.
