Company Overview

The organization is entering a pivotal period of transformation. After decades of founder‑led operations built on deep industry intuition with limited documented processes, the company is shifting toward a more structured, scalable, and growth‑focused model. As part of the ownership transition, the founders will remain involved for up to three years to support knowledge transfer. However, long‑term success requires modernization of systems, workflow discipline, and a more defined commercial structure.

To support this evolution and to enable the company’s plan to grow from approximately sixty million to one hundred twenty million in the next three to five years, a Director of Preconstruction position is being created. This role will introduce standardized processes, enhance commercial rigor, strengthen estimating operations, and improve the effectiveness of the bid to award pipeline.

About the Role

The Director of Preconstruction will lead and modernize all front‑end commercial activities from invitation to bid through project award. This leader will build consistent processes, strengthen estimating coordination, enforce CRM discipline, develop workflow standards, and elevate customer engagement with the goal of improving both efficiency and win rates.

The ideal candidate brings strong construction industry experience, preferably with deep drywall knowledge, and the ability to build scalable systems, coach teams, and bring structure to a fast‑evolving environment. This is a confidential and high‑impact leadership role designed to support succession planning and long‑term organizational growth.
