Day to day
The moment a guest steps in, you’ll create a memorable experience. As Director of Front Office, you manage all aspects of front office areas including guest registration, bell services, business center, telephone services, concierge services, club lounge, and guest reservations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day operations, assign and schedule front‑office staff.
- Develop departmental strategies and enforce policies.
- Recommend staffing actions and alert management to serious issues.
- Ensure staff training on systems, security, cash handling, and service standards.
- Monitor service and provide guest recognition; implement recovery guidelines.
- Inspect front office and public areas; develop action plans for deficiencies.
- Analyze guest satisfaction data and develop plans to improve scores and enrollments.
- Achieve budgeted revenues, control labor costs, and maximize profitability.
- Maintain security of finances and guest information; check billing compliance.
- Establish and maintain emergency communications; liaise with local authorities.
- Assist in hotel revenue generation through system utilization.
- Promote teamwork and coordinate with Accounting, Revenue Management, Sales, Catering, F&B, Housekeeping, and Maintenance.
- Interact with guests, regulatory agencies, and community contacts.
- Perform other duties as assigned; serve “manager on duty” as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management/Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years Front Office/Guest Service experience, including managerial experience.
- Fluent in English; other languages preferred.
- Regular standing and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proficient with property management and reservation systems.
- Strong communication, reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Problem‑solving, reasoning, and training abilities.
- Willingness to travel for training and work nights, weekends, or holidays.

What we offer
The salary range is $95,000 – $100,000 annually, with bonus eligibility. We provide paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), worldwide hotel discounts, and access to various discount programs.
