Commercial Property Manager
The Property Manager will oversee daily operations for a portfolio of approximately 15 commercial properties in the Greater Boston area, primarily north of Boston. This role focuses on maintaining strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and ownership, ensuring properties are well‑maintained, financially sound, and aligned with portfolio‑wide business goals. The ideal candidate will bring experience in commercial property management, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to operational excellence.
Job Details:
- Employment Type: Full‑time
- Compensation: Up to $110,000 annually
- Bonus: 5% performance‑based

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of multiple commercial properties, ensuring compliance, maintenance, and safety standards are met
- Serve as the primary liaison for tenants, vendors, and contractors, ensuring timely and professional communication
- Manage RFPs, vendor selection, service contracts, and preventative maintenance programs for all building systems
- Respond to tenant requests, maintenance issues, and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Monitor rent collections, assist with CAM reconciliations, budgets, and financial reporting
- Partner with asset management to execute business plans, analyze performance, and implement cost‑saving and tenant satisfaction initiatives
Required Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial property management (industrial or retail). Residential Property Managers will not be considered for this opening.
- Strong understanding of building systems, operating budgets, and CAPEX planning
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for travel throughout the portfolio
Nice‑to‑Have Experience:
- Experience managing multiple properties across a regional portfolio
- Prior exposure to tenant improvement projects or capital planning
- Experience supporting accounting or finance teams with operational budgets
Preferred Skills:
- Yardi property management software
- Microsoft Excel (advanced user) and Microsoft Office Suite
- ShareFile or similar document management platforms
- Vendor management and contract negotiation
