Gilbane is seeking a Program Director – Pharma to be the head of all project activities, holding overall accountability for the successful, congruent delivery of the program. This role will sit primarily on the job site with occasional travel to the office for trainings, meetings, etc.

Responsibilities
Leadership
- Effectively convey project vision through a variety of communication methods
- Communicate ongoing, accurate, complete, and clear information to all stakeholders regarding change implementation
- Inspire the organization through written and verbal messages, conveying public information positively
- Create and maintain influential relations through effective communication
- Ensure alignment of communication, processes, resources, and systems across the project with vision and direction
- Diagnose gaps in knowledge, experience, skills and behaviour that underlie current and future performance
- Foster cooperation across project teams and remove barriers to partnerships and teamwork that inhibit fulfillment of project goals and priorities
- Formulate clear decision criteria; evaluate options by considering implications and consequences and choose effective option
- Frequently articulate the benefits of an inclusive workplace culture with employees and other leaders

- Responsible for career development and coaching of employees through a team of managers

- Drive the long‑term strategic vision for the organization, serving as a bridge between Executive leadership and operational teams and ensuring alignment of departmental goals with the overarching vision
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership for informed decision‑making
Operational / Delivery
- Oversee all construction activities on the project, ensuring the project has adequate operational strategies in place to achieve the desired expectations
- Create culture and champion onsite safety to the “Gilbane Cares” philosophy
- Anticipate technical issues that may arise and offer expert advice on technical construction elements
Commercial / Contractual
- Manage risk and control expenses to ensure overall profitability in alignment with objectives
- Hold overall responsibility for project P&L and financial reporting
Experience / Education
Qualifications
- BS or MS Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- LEED Accredited preferred
- Minimum of 25 years’ building construction experience with previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing facility construction required
- Previously sat at the top of an Integrated Project Delivery scheme
- Experience working as Construction Manager at Risk & Design Build
- Experience in commercial construction and R&D projects

Salary & Benefits
The pay ranges from $223,400‑$355,960 plus benefits and retirement program.
Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.
