Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Leader to oversee the Property & Casualty and Employee Benefits sales operations. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, expanding our producer base and leading acquisition efforts to scale our impact across the nonprofit sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Hire, train, mentor, and coach EB and P&C producers to exceed performance goals.
    • Conduct weekly sales meetings and regular feedback sessions.
    • Oversee onboarding and career development pathways for new producers.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution
    • Guide sales tactics, forecasting, and pipeline management.
    • Lead cross-selling initiatives across EB and P&C offerings.
    • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, thought leadership, and event presence.
    • Work with Marketing to develop materials, presentations, and digital campaigns.
  • Acquisition & Growth
    • Drive agency/book acquisitions and producer lift-outs.
    • Evaluate and negotiate compensation structures for seasoned producers.
    • Represent CNIS at industry events and forums to build scalable pipelines.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Partner with client service teams to ensure seamless handoffs and renewals.
    • Track performance metrics and ensure compliance with internal standards.

You will be a key driver in expanding our reach, deepening client relationships, and supporting CNIS’s mission of serving nonprofits with integrity and excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance sales and team management.
  • Proven track record in driving growth and managing producer performance.
  • Deep understanding of nonprofit insurance needs and market dynamics.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience with acquisitions and onboarding of new producers is a plus.
