Director of Project Management

Overview

Capstone Americas is partnered with a global construction consultancy seeking an experienced Project Management leader to join their San Francisco office. This is a senior leadership role with autonomy to grow the business in California and develop new client relationships across existing and new sectors.

The Role:

• Lead and manage high-profile projects, ensuring delivery excellence.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities in San Francisco and the wider California market.
• Develop and expand client relationships across sectors, particularly education, with opportunities in other sectors welcomed.
• Mentor and guide project teams, driving professional development and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape business strategy and support growth plans.

What They Are Looking For:

• Established network in San Francisco and across California; strong connections with potential clients are essential.
• Proven track record in winning and managing complex projects.
• Experience in education sector projects is highly desirable, but strong commercial or mixed-use project experience will also be considered.
• Strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities in new sectors or with new clients for growth.
