About The Role

In this role, you will manage the strategic integration of our professional tax software with federal agency systems, including AI‑powered enhancements that will help shape the future of tax technology for both government and commercial markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for federal government engagements while contributing to our broader commercial product strategy.
  • Collaborate with engineering, content, and support teams to define, prioritize, and deliver features and improvements for both government and commercial customers.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with federal agency personnel and conduct user research to identify pain points and prioritize enhancements that deliver the greatest impact.
  • Coordinate integration features including API capabilities and data exchange between our tax products and federal enterprise systems.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product success and use data‑driven insights to make informed decisions and enhance performance.

About You

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of API integrations and enterprise system connectivity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Understanding of US federal tax compliance processes and professional tax preparation workflows a plus.

Compensation

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office location(s) for this role include: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $134,680 USD – $250,120 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
