The Meta Ads Strategist is responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and reporting on paid social media advertising campaigns—primarily within Meta’s ecosystem. This role focuses on developing high-performing paid strategies for clients, driving measurable results, and enhancing Mediagistic’s paid social advertising capabilities.
Responsibilities
Manage high-value client accounts and execute full-funnel Meta advertising campaigns from strategy development through optimization and reporting.
Create detailed social spend plans, strategic breakdowns, and advertising flight schedules for custom clients, PowerBuys, and paid-social-only accounts.
Build, optimize, and monitor campaigns in Meta Ads Manager, ensuring proper structure, audience segmentation, creative alignment, and objective selection.
Develop custom audiences, lookalike models, remarketing strategies, and testing structures.
Own all paid social tests and serve as the primary liaison for paid social testing initiatives.
Optimize performance across all LeadBuilder and custom campaigns using industry benchmarks, platform insights, and data-driven decision making.
Analyze and report on campaign effectiveness, identifying opportunities to enhance ROI across accounts.
Partner with the Inbound Marketing Manager to estimate budgets, timelines, and deliverables for paid social campaigns across various verticals.
Collaborate with Digital Strategy and internal teams to support custom proposals, new vertical opportunities, and audience development.
Assist in managing and executing large group-buy campaigns and high-volume paid-media programs.
Present paid social strategy, results, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
Support the development and documentation of SOPs related to paid social advertising products, processes, and verticals.
Assist in onboarding and training new team members on paid social advertising fundamentals, tools, and best practices.
Stay current on emerging Meta ad features, tools, ad units, policies, and platform changes; document findings and communicate opportunities to the internal team.
Monitor trends in paid social media, conversion tracking, and audience targeting to support innovation and improved campaign performance.
Qualifications
Required
2–3 years of hands‑on experience managing Meta advertising campaigns in Facebook/Meta Ads Manager.
Intermediate knowledge of Facebook Pixel and Conversion API setups, including event configuration.
Strong understanding of audience segmentation, remarketing strategy, and performance optimization.
Proven ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and client‑facing.
Ability to learn new tools quickly and troubleshoot technical advertising issues.
Preferred
Agency experience, particularly with clients in home services, family entertainment, resorts, or related verticals.
BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
Work is normally performed in a typical interior office environment that requires normal safety precautions such as typical office or administrative work.
This position is full‑time on‑site in our corporate office in Tampa (I‑75 & Fletcher).
Physical Demands
Job involves sitting most of the time; walking, lifting, bending, and standing may be minimally required to complete tasks.
Travel
Travel will be required rarely, if at all. Total travel time will be less than 10% of the time.
