The Opportunity Tetra Tech is expanding our team in the Indianapolis, Indiana market to better serve our pharmaceutical clients.
We need Construction Managers to support a construction program for a new manufacturing facility, providing day‑to‑day site leadership and supervising contractors and trades to safely execute the field work while meeting schedule, quality and cGMP requirements.

Essential Job Functions
Oversee on‑site construction activities: manage subcontractors, manpower, sequencing and daily operations.
Ensure construction quality, adherence to drawings/specifications and pharmaceutical standards.
Enforce the site EHS program; conduct safety briefings, audits and corrective actions.
Coordinate with planners, QA/validation, procurement and engineering to maintain handover readiness.
Maintain daily reports, RFIs, site logs; manage punchlists and closeout activities.
Facilitate contractor performance management and resolution of issues.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Utilities), Construction Management or a related field.
10+ years’ construction management experience, including at least 10 years on large‑scale pharmaceutical projects.
Strong background in mechanical, piping, HVAC and process equipment installation in regulated facilities.
Proven leadership, subcontractor management and safety management capabilities.
Ability to do field work/oversight in varied environmental conditions.
A willingness to travel (approx.
Drug screening compliance with state regulations.
Valid driver’s license with a clean record and no restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications
BS degree in Construction Management preferred.
OSHA 30 (or equivalent); GMP/construction QA training a plus.
Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing facility construction; other industrial/manufacturing experience also valued.
Physical Requirements
Use hands for typing, handling materials and operating office equipment.
Walk across variable terrain, including uneven ground, in all weather conditions.
Travel periodically within the Indianapolis metro area (approx. Work Environment / Environmental Factors
On‑site position providing direct contractor oversight at an active construction site.
Field work includes occasional exposure to weather, altitude, terrain and noise; may involve long periods of standing, walking, bending, lifting and sitting.
Field office work includes extended periods sitting or standing at a desk and using a computer.
Additional Information
Full‑time, Monday through Friday (40 hours). Occasional extended hours required based on project or client needs.
Work primarily on‑site in a field setting.
