Position: Property Management Coordinator
We have a unique opportunity for anyone with an interest in business real estate. The Property Management Coordinator works alongside local management to maintain our billboard real‑estate portfolio. This includes all real‑estate related functions and activities necessary to profitably secure, maintain, and grow the company's real‑estate portfolio of leased and owned properties in a manner consistent with Lamar’s business practices.

Benefits & Compensation
A Monday‑Friday 8 am – 5 pm schedule
Hourly range: $21 – $22 (dependent on experience)
120 hours paid time off (increases with tenure)

Key Responsibilities
Enter, maintain, and routinely audit data and documentation to ensure accurate accounting, record‑keeping, and file management within internal software applications.
Act as the first point of contact with existing and potential landowners.
Maintain accurate records of state and local zoning ordinances; monitor proposed zoning applications or changes.
Assist with monitoring and analyzing critical operational data related to land lease agreements, owned properties, and other real‑estate assets.
Create and maintain an up‑to‑date market abstract identifying growth or relocation opportunities.
Monitor competitor activity and permitting practices.
Engage in landowner negotiation and conflict resolution.
Prepare and present agreements with landowners and their agents.
Coordinate due diligence and purchase process for approved easement and land.
Process property tax invoices for company‑owned real‑estate.
Prepare monthly and annual percentage/overage payments and CPI adjustments for manager review.
Secure and renew all applicable governmental approvals (variances, construction, vegetation, conditional use permits).
Collaborate with internal departments and landowners to ensure continued access and resolve appearance or vegetation issues.
Driving in the field is required; the primary work environment is an office.
Light lifting, good vision, ability to sit >50% of the time, standing, stooping, speaking, turning; nights spent traveling are Qualifications & Skills
Ability to learn city and state codes, permitting, zoning variances.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize demands to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe; enthusiasm to develop new web application skills.
Skill in speaking with persons from diverse social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds.
Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials.
Basic accounting knowledge and practices.
Ability to operate within a set yearly budget.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships internally and externally.
Ability to handle confidential information and situations.
Education & Experience Requirements
Associate’s degree with 1 year of experience in business, real estate, leasing, or related field.
OR 2 years of experience in business, real estate, leasing, or related field.
OR Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business or real estate.
Additional Preferences
Current and valid driver’s license required.
Real‑estate license and/or notary license preferred.
1–3 years of experience in land acquisition, zoning, or land‑use planning preferred.
