Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the property, including customer service and property maintenance.

Develop customer relationships by identifying self‑storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering WOW! or 5‑Star service.

Interact face‑to‑face with customers, providing excellent service and building rapport.

Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.

Walk the property to perform lock checks and show units to customers.

Rent self‑storage spaces, sell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, accept payments using our Point‑of‑Sale System (POS), complete daily bank deposits, and make courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.

Manage invoice review and approval within database, process invoices, manage reports and the legal process of auctions.

Oversee the store’s expense budget while maintaining store supplies and retail inventory.

Physical requirements include daily walks of the property, cleaning units, opening/closing storage doors (up to 50 lb), mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and keeping the facility safe and clean (restrooms, landscaping, parking, paving, fence, walls, doors).

Qualifications

A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.

Experience delivering high‑quality customer service to a diverse customer market.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to work Saturdays; some locations may require Sunday hours.

Valid driver’s license and insurance, and access to reliable transportation during the workday.

Physical ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder; frequent lifting of up to 50 lb.
