Tenant Associate – MercyOne
Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Tenant Associate.
Role Overview The Tenant Associate at MercyOne will assist tenants who are functionally, physically, and/or socially impaired and may need continual oversight. The role supports tenants in daily living activities, medication administration, meal serving, cleaning and laundry tasks, light baking/continental breakfast setup, and state‑regulated activities such as fire drills. The associate fosters independence and freedom of choice while maintaining alignment with Mercy Medical Center’s mission and the Ellen Kennedy Living Center philosophy.
Responsibilities
Assist tenants with activities of daily living.
Administer medications and assist with state‑regulated activities.
Serve meals and prepare light baking/continental breakfast.
Perform cleaning and laundry tasks.
Support tenant activity programs.
Hours and Shift Part‑Time 20 hours per week or PRN; Weekend and holiday requirement. Evening shift.
Qualifications
High School Diploma strongly preferred.
Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required; recertification every other year.
Valid state driver’s license.
18 years of age or older (as per state regulations).
