We are seeking an experienced
Estimator
with a strong background in
miscellaneous, ornamental, and small structural steel projects
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities
Review and analyze construction plans, specifications, scope of work, and client documents thoroughly.
Prepare accurate and detailed quantity take-offs, material lists, and cost estimates.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as required.
Communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to clarify scope and ensure accuracy in bids.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and project teams.
Track bid progress, deadlines, and follow-up to secure awarded projects.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of estimating experience specifically in miscellaneous, ornamental, and structural steel.
Strong knowledge of fabrication and erection processes, materials, and industry standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, Procore, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
Position Details
Full‑time: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Overtime available if desired.
Salary: Competitive and negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.
