Mechanical Designer II

Responsibilities
Independently design small and large projects and adapt to changes in scope and facility design.
Train new or inexperienced employees.
Communicate effectively across disciplines to identify and resolve design issues.
Explain and present design concepts to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or Certificate in CAD, Drafting or Design from an accredited institution.
5+ years of experience using AutoCAD and CADWorx for Oil & Gas mechanical design.
Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations for the Oil & Gas industry.
Ability to work safely on active construction sites.
25‑50% travel required.
Occasional lifting and carrying of 50 pounds or less.
Physically able to stand for long periods, walk long distances, and work outdoors under all weather conditions.
Physically able to sit for extended periods in front of a computer.
Additional Skills
Familiarity with Leica laser scan equipment and software.
Ground Penetrating Radar experience using GSSI equipment.
Line locating experience using RadioDetection equipment.
Autodesk Civil 3D experience.
Leica CloudWorx experience.
Current FAA Part 107 certification.
Associates degree or higher in Drafting & Design, Engineering Technology or related field.
