(Friday – Monday, 6 am – 4 pm) –

We support customers with over 50 nationwide service centers and a 24/7 call center for scheduled and unscheduled fleet services.

Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow‑up repairs on light, medium, and heavy‑duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.

Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment (electrical, brake, cooling, starters, alternators, fan clutches, engine electronics, diesel steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials).

Diagnose, adjust, and repair equipment using test instruments such as handheld computers and pressure gauges.

Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions; road‑test vehicles to ensure proper operation.

Identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and make sound judgment decisions.

Independently manage parts inventory, perform periodic reconciliation, and maintain the company‑issued service truck.

Conduct safety checks and complete pre‑/post‑trip inspections.

Work with clients and customers to understand needs and provide solutions.

Prioritize concurrent tasks and allocate time effectively.

Use hand tools, precision instruments, diesel tools, welding equipment, lifts, and jacks.

Document work on Repair Orders (RO) with pictures and parts usage via the TRAIT application.

Complete DOT forms and other documentation promptly.

Maintain a high level of productivity, meeting Standard Repair Times.

Obtain parts from approved vendors when necessary.

Communicate with management and support teams to obtain repair estimate approvals and discuss RO findings.

Actively comply with safety, health, and environmental policies and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT).

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with at least 3 years of related experience (alternative combinations accepted).

Have a set of hand tools required for job duties.

Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months of hire.

Pass a DOT‑regulated pre‑employment background screen and DOT physical (or submit a DOT medical card with >4 months validity).

Be at least 21 years old.

Hold a valid driver's license and maintain a clean Driver Qualification File.

Compensation Hourly base rate:

USD 26.73 – 40.10 per hour , varying based on location and experience. Additional compensation may include commission and incentive programs.
