Agreement Coordinator, Energy Business Role Overview Wärtsilä Energy’s Engine Power Plant Lifecycle Management team is seeking an Agreement Coordinator to deliver existing and new agreements while helping to drive business growth in the United States. Reporting to the Country Agreement Manager for the Energy Business and primarily based in Houston (other locations may be considered), this hybrid role involves regular travel to customer sites and Wärtsilä offices.
Accountabilities
Provide support to Agreement Managers and Plant Managers for all contract deliverables.
Ensure accuracy and quality of delegated tasks in relation to the Country Agreement Manager.
Review and initiate monthly O&M invoices with coordination of AM, Power Plant Managers, site personnel and customers.
Monitor account receivables and highlight overdue status to the Agreement Manager.
Review monthly cost bookings with Finance Controller and Agreement Managers to ensure correct cost allocation under WBS elements.
Maintain an updated database of site inventory and ensure timely SAP updates of spare consumption.
Secure spare parts, exchange parts, field‑service resources and maintenance tools in coordination with FS Coordinator.
Education B.Sc. in a technical or commercial area or equivalent. MBA is desirable.
Responsibilities
Support the Agreement Manager in implementing agreement‑management activities during mobilisation and operations phases.
Monitor the execution of maintenance tasks in coordination with Maintenance Planner and Expert.
Act as Responsible Coordinator for AMEO in the country/region.
Create spare‑parts sales order/quotation and ensure correct WBS element usage.
Follow up on spare‑part orders and updating additional requirements.
Support the Agreement Manager to achieve quality, financial, cost, safety and time targets.
Maintain good relations with internal and external stakeholders.
Use tools such as SAP, WE BUY and Maximo at an expert level.
Maintain KPI and account‑plan status and participate in Account Team meetings.
Coordinate tasks with site teams as directed by the Country or Agreement Manager.
Report progress of specific tasks to the Agreement Manager.
Facilitate identification of local issues, risks, administrative tasks and local rules and propose solutions.
Support creation of demobilisation plan and assist with demobilisation activities.
Development Responsibilities
Continuously strive for agreement profitability by taking necessary actions.
Update knowledge of local, regional and global logistics management.
Provide feedback on standard and contract‑specific solutions.
Highlight local rules and needs to avoid difficulties.
Authorities
Local logistics procurement and documentation as required.
Authority as assigned by Country or Contract Manager.
Approval of invoices in compliance with agreement terms.
