Precise Systems is seeking a mid level Proposal Management Specialist to support the planning, development, and execution of high quality Government proposals across Department of Defense customers. This role supports the full proposal lifecycle from pre RFP activities through final submission and plays a key role in ensuring compliance, schedule discipline, and proposal quality. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. This position works closely with Proposal Managers, Capture Managers, Technical Leads, Pricing, and Executive Leadership to deliver compliant, compelling proposals that align with Precise standards and customer expectations.
Required Education
BA/BS in a business major
Additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree (BS/BA or MS) or additional years of equivalent work experience
Required Experience
Four (4) years of experience supporting Government proposal efforts with Department of Defense experience preferred
Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS based solicitations
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
Desired Experience
Experience supporting Navy, Marine Corps, or other Department of Defense proposals
Experience with electronic proposal submissions through Government portals
Familiarity with proposal trackers, compliance matrices, and SharePoint based workflows
Key Responsibilities
Proposal Planning and Execution
Support multiple proposal efforts across all phases of the proposal lifecycle including pre RFP planning, RFP release, proposal development, and submission
Support proposal kickoff meetings, daily status meetings, and color team reviews
Develop and maintain proposal schedules, compliance matrices, action item trackers, and deliverable checklists
Manage proposal artifacts and ensure proper version control within SharePoint and other proposal repositories
Compliance and Quality
Support RFP reviews and assist with development of compliance matrices aligned to Sections L and M
Perform compliance checks to ensure proposal volumes meet solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria
Ensure proposal volumes adhere to corporate branding, formatting, and quality standards
Coordination and Communication
Coordinate inputs across Proposal Managers, Technical Writers, Subject Matter Experts, Graphics, and Pricing teams
Track assignments, dependencies, and deadlines and follow up as needed to ensure timely completion
Proactively identify gaps, risks, and late inputs and elevate issues appropriately
Proposal Production and Submission
Support document formatting, proofreading, and integration of inputs across proposal volumes
Support final production activities including file naming, organization, and electronic uploads
Assist with proposal submissions through Government portals and customer designated systems
Validate that all required files are complete, compliant, and submitted by required deadlines
Process Improvement and Knowledge Management
Support continuous improvement of proposal processes, templates, and tools
Assist with proposal lessons learned, hot wash documentation, and metrics tracking
Support maintenance of proposal libraries including resumes, past performance, and corporate content
Other

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $68,090.40 - $102,135.60 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package. Precise Systems is committed to fair and equitable pay practices in alignment with applicable pay transparency laws and equal employment opportunity standards.
