Services Account Executive (Professional Services)

What you’ll achieve As an Outside Sales Specialist, you will proactively identify and solve customer business needs by providing strategic, solution‑led expertise leveraging Dell’s portfolio. You will drive high‑value services‑based opportunities — including consulting, implementation, and managed services — while collaborating across internal and partner ecosystems to advance customer business objectives.
You will
Drive
professional services–focused sales cycles , articulating value across consulting, implementation, and managed services offerings
Lead with a
consultative sales methodology , performing needs analysis and aligning solutions to customer business outcomes
Support
moderately to highly complex sales opportunities , including multi‑stakeholder and multi‑workstream engagements
Collaborate across
cross‑functional internal teams
(sales, delivery, product, and partner organizations) to ensure alignment and successful execution
Engage at
all levels of the customer organization , from technical teams to senior executives, adapting technical and strategic messaging accordingly
Leverage and support
partner ecosystem sales motions , building joint value propositions and co‑selling engagement strategies
Research and apply
industry, market, and technology trends
to develop differentiated messaging and proactively uncover opportunity areas
Core Skills & Experience
5–8 years in a
relationship‑based, field or outside sales role
with strong experience selling
services‑led solutions
rather than transactional product sales
Deep understanding of
project lifecycle and delivery methodologies
across professional services engagements
Strong communication and storytelling skills with customers, executives, and internal teams
Ability to present and architect solution recommendations based on
business value and outcomes
Experience managing pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, and territory strategy
Experience in one or more of the following is highly beneficial:
EUC platforms and
Microsoft Enterprise Ecosystem
(Microsoft 365, Intune, etc.)
Multi‑cloud and data center strategies , migrations and modernization
Cybersecurity & Resilience
frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)
Proficiency with a CRM platform for pipeline management, opportunity tracking, and account planning
Experience developing
executive‑focused presentations and tailored technology content
5–8 years of field sales experience
