Sales Manager
and lead a high‑performing retail team. This role drives sales growth, delivers exceptional customer experiences, and upholds the brand’s core values across the store. Job Summary
As a sales leader, you will execute personnel and store sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will coach and mentor staff, manage sales operations, and champion brand advocacy. Key Responsibilities
Achieve or surpass store and individual sales goals and annual operating benchmarks. Coach, train, and support sales teams to improve techniques, strategies, and overall performance. Deliver exceptional customer service and build long‑term relationships that enhance loyalty and satisfaction. Recruit, train, and mentor staff to meet sales targets while fostering a positive work environment. Champion the branded customer experience, ensuring store layout, product presentation, and employee interactions align with brand guidelines. Support company‑wide marketing initiatives and promotions, ensuring correct execution in line with brand positioning. Resolve customer concerns and support planning and execution of sales promotions and events. Collaborate with support teams to ensure flawless operational excellence and uphold brand visual standards. Minimum Qualifications
High School or GED Equivalent. 1–3 years of retail sales experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and solid financial and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal communication, team management, and customer service orientation. Ability to work the schedule dictated by business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing in a retail environment with a strong focus on sales. Strong business acumen and advanced interpersonal skills. Compensation & Benefits
Training Pay: $20–$22 per hour for 2–6 weeks (no commission). Average Earning Potential After Training: $45,000–$75,000+ (inclusive of base, commission, and bonus). Base Pay: $10,400 per year (Plan 1) or $26,000 per year (Plan 2). Commission: Uncapped commission on written sales – 6% (Plan 1) or 3% (Plan 2) on La‑Z‑Boy Design Sales and 4% (Plan 1) or 2% (Plan 2) on other sales. Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, Basic Life Insurance, 401(k) with up to 6% match, 9–11 paid holidays, 2 weeks’ prorated vacation, and sick leave. EEO Statement
