Summary:
As the Logistics Account Executive you are responsible for growing the Logistics business by assessing new customers and building a customer pipeline. You will cultivate strong working relationships with existing and new clients. This role offers a base salary of $80,000 - $85,000 + commissions.
You’ll Be Selling:
Transportation and Supply Chain solutions to companies in the Metals Industry that need to move material more efficiently.
What You’ll Do:
Achieve sales goals by assessing potential client needs and following a defined selling process.
Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage full sales cycle pipeline, from identification of prospects to the first load.
Negotiate contracts with prospective clients. Help determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities, in coordination with account management team.
Prepare concise and accurate business reports, proposals, and other required documentation for executive-level presentations.
Prepare for and participate in regular customer business reviews in coordination with logistics account management team.
Embody company values and build trust with customer network and carrier partners
What You Bring:
3-5 years in Logistics Sales
