Supports the digital marketing strategy by implementing programs and tactics to increase product demand, enhance sales, identify additional sales channels, attract traffic to the company website, and promote an online presence.

Essential Job Functions

Product Information Management

Manages product information to ensure new and existing products have proper information associated with them. This includes:

Product information

Product specifications

Product application

Directing best photo assets

SEO

Manages process with Director from Part Number creation to release of product to end users.

Work with the team to ensure the proper product placement strategy and how it relates to BCG’s market growth and share model (QUESTION, STAR, DOG, COW).

Assist in analysis of product lines to ensure key margin targets are met through pricing changes, promotion, distribution targets, and discontinuation.

Advertisement content creation.

Conduct market research as assigned for potential new products and existing products.

Weekly Intel Report that is key to organization intel on what’s happening in the market.

Have the ability to decipher market trends that will guide product strategy.

Work across departments to identify market trends specifically related to product features, costs, and product placement.

Develops, curates, and deploys compelling content to attract, engage and retain visitors and promote sales.

Collects and analyzes online statistics to identify marketplace trends and best practices to optimize online marketing performance.

Manages all social media content and provides valuable input/execution into other digital marketing strategies.

Under guidance from engineering and key management, this position manages select product development initiatives assigned to him/her.

Assist in key marketing and sales events like the International Linemen’s Rodeo, Utility Expo, TCIA, or other major events. Duties would include event setup, event staffing, etc. Potential travel for 4-6 events per year at the most.

Minimum Job Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required

2+ years of related experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Attendance is an essential function of this position.

The ability to operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Salary Range $55,000-$75,000
