About the Role
We’re seeking a Performance Creative Strategist to join our growing Creative team. In this role, you’ll combine sharp copywriting, creative direction, and performance insight to launch, test, and scale winning ad campaigns. You’ll be the connective tissue between designers, media buyers, and data analysts, ensuring that our creative output not only looks good but also performs at the highest level. This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of art and science—capable of writing persuasive ad copy, guiding designers with strategic clarity, and pulling insights from performance data to inform the next wave of creative testing. Responsibilities
Copywriting: Write high-converting ad copy across social, search, and display campaigns with a focus on clarity, persuasion, and brand alignment. Creative Coordination: Partner closely with designers to concept, brief, and produce ad creative that scales across multiple formats and platforms. Market Research: Stay ahead of cultural trends, competitive landscapes, and category insights to inspire fresh creative strategies. Data-Driven Strategy: Analyze campaign performance metrics, distill insights, and translate data into actionable creative testing roadmaps. Platform Expertise: Develop strategies tailored to the nuances of major platforms, including Facebook, Google, TikTok, YouTube, and more. Client Impact: Collaborate with Account and Growth teams to deliver creative strategies that drive measurable results for high-growth apps and consumer tech brands. Qualifications
2–4 years experience in performance creative strategy, copywriting, or growth marketing. Strong portfolio of ad copy and creative strategy work. Proven ability to collaborate with designers and cross-functional teams. Comfortable interpreting performance data and making creative recommendations. In-platform experience with all major ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube). Experience in apps or consumer tech highly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; organized and detail-oriented. Why Headlight
