What Are We Looking For
Momentum is seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead sports partnership strategy and activation. The role involves managing client relationships, integrating activation initiatives across platforms, and ensuring on-time, on‑budget execution.
Responsibilities
Serve as a key member of a major financial services brand team, responsible for developing and managing client business.
Manage select brand partnerships, developing strategy, and guiding utilization of contractual assets.
Build rapport with clients, partner agencies, and sponsorship partners; troubleshoot conflicts.
Lead development and activation of strategic solutions (sponsorship activation, event marketing, offers/promotions, media support) to build brand equity.
Guide cross‑functional teams through the program lifecycle from briefs to ideation, production, and execution.
Facilitate communication and proposal requests with external partners/vendors.
Deliver polished client presentations.
Track asset fulfillment across the vertical.
Oversee financial aspects of programs, including budgeting, internal processes, and reconciliation.
Manage and mentor direct reports, fostering mutual respect and continuous performance feedback.
Lead on‑site activation elements at key events, overseeing staffing, programming, and customer communications.
Travel as needed to meet clients or partner agencies across the country.
Set priorities, demonstrate proactivity, and assume a leadership role for assigned work.

Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
4–5+ years of relevant marketing experience (agency experience preferred).
Passionate about sports and entertainment.
Experience managing/training junior team members.
History of on‑site activation with working knowledge of production.
Confident building and managing budgets.
Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Able to work across multiple platforms and channels.
Self‑driven with the ability to drive projects through to execution.
Collaborative, enthusiastic, resourceful, and solution‑oriented.
Polished, professional demeanor.
Quick learner who works well with diverse teams.
Salary Range
$80,000 – $95,000
