The Opportunity This field‑based position supports Abbott’s Vascular division, providing innovative, minimally invasive and cost‑effective products for vascular disease treatment. Your role as Account Manager will ensure the assigned territory meets or exceeds sales objectives and delivers profitable growth/market share aligned with the Annual Plan.
What You’ll Work On
Lead all commercial selling activity in the territory, focusing on Interventional Cardiologists to promote the complete Coronary portfolio.
Support clinical selling activity and procedure case service, including value proposition, product launch, physician onboarding, early case coverage and training.
Influence stakeholders within hospital settings.
Drive product utilization and support contracting to gain favorable positions.
Drive market development in new product segments and launches.
Meet customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Develop and implement sales strategies considering product, competition, and pricing.
Create action plans by analyzing sales figures and reporting to the Regional Sales Director.
Build relationships with hospital personnel and key decision makers.
Strengthen customer relationships through sales support activities such as product training, therapy awareness, and education events.
Attend trade shows, educational conferences, and seminars to build networks of contacts.
Maintain clinical and technical expertise with company product training sessions.
Prepare and submit reports to sales management, analyzing and compiling data, projections, and other relevant information.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3‑5+ years of related work experience.
Ability to travel 50% within the assigned region.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience selling in the medical device industry.
