We have an exciting opportunity in construction for an Account Executive who thrives in a challenging and collaborative environment. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships and driving business growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial construction market, including developers, property owners, general contractors, and architects.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and prospects through networking, industry events, cold calling, and market research.
Conduct sales presentations, proposal meetings, and product demonstrations to showcase construction capabilities and solutions.
Develop customized proposals, bids, and pricing structures based on client requirements and project specifications.
Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty, repeat business, and referrals.
Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities within the commercial construction sector.
Share insights, best practices, and market intelligence with internal teams to enhance overall sales effectiveness.
Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, maintaining regular communication to understand their needs, goals, and expectations.
Travel locally and regionally as needed to meet with clients, attend events, and visit project sites.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Experience
At least five years’ (5) experience in the trade.
Strong work ethic with ability to multi-task and focus.
Detail driven with an accounting mindset – “know your costs”.
Excellent organizational skills – sequences and order.
Computer and technology savvy.
Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, products, and services, including knowledge of building materials, methods, and codes.
