The Opportunity Location:

Columbus, OH . This Brand Manager – Pediatric Marketing focuses on Shopper & CBEC. Responsibilities include integrating shopper marketing into retail strategies, leading shopper creative and joint business planning, managing the shopper and CBEC budget, driving demand generation, analyzing promotional effectiveness, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

What You’ll Work On

Serve as liaison with Shopper Marketing and Brand teams to develop shopper‑specific communication strategies.

Collaborate on global CBEC strategy and execution.

Integrate shopper and brand agencies for briefing, messaging, and activation.

Manage shopper & CBEC budget with forecasting and financial decisions.

Track competitive marketing activity and measure ROI.

Collaborate with Brand, Retail, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, Public Affairs, Legal, R&D, and external partners.

Partner with Brand P&L owner on annual brand plans.

Required Qualifications

3–5 years of brand management, shopper marketing, or marketing experience.

At least 3 years of demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional teams; global experience is a plus.

Experience in Shopper Marketing and/or using shopper data and insights.

Knowledge of Brand Management, Sales, and Retail Marketing.

Experience working with third‑party vendors and creative agencies.

Ability to present and influence others, including Abbott and customer leaders.

Strategic recommendation and annual activation planning skills.

Analytical skills and attention to detail; inclusive of budget ownership.

Time and project management skills, working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Understanding of trends and responding to changing customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA strongly preferred.

Benefits & Compensation Base pay: $99,300 – $198,700. Benefits include medical coverage, retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and additional company benefits.
