– 2 weeks ago. This role involves facilitating external transfers of client assets, researching and resolving complex issues, monitoring workflow, and maintaining departmental metrics. The associate also provides standard client support by assisting internal associates and/or Financial Advisors with escalated inquiries, ensuring professionalism and service excellence. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and a client‑first mindset.

This position follows a hybrid‑friendly schedule: 3 office days per week averaging 12 days per month at our Memphis, TN Corporate Office. Onsite training is required for the first 30 days (Monday‑Thursday).

Responsibilities

Reviews and approves client requests to transfer accounts to and from contra firms.

Screens incoming or outgoing client requests and verifies all necessary legal documentation.

Scrutinizes information in transfer forms and letters of authorization.

Assists with various requests for information, referring more complex matters to colleagues.

Answers the telephone and assists callers or those making varied inquiries by email or mail.

Performs standard customer service activities and handles simple customer inquiries.

Performs data entry into company systems and verifies accuracy.

Maintains files and records.

Organizes own work schedule each day in line with changing priorities.

Follows mandatory procedures to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Participates in assessment and development activities to maintain procedural or technical skills.

Knowledge

Understanding of each type of security held by the firm and their similarities/differences.

Knowledge of industry rules and regulations governing account transfers.

Familiarity with Home Office Operations departments.

Knowledge of required legal documentation for processing requests.

Skills

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a High School diploma (required).

General experience of 4 to 6 months.
