Independent Living Coach (Group Leader)

Independent Living Coach
to join our vibrant team and support participants in developing life‑changing skills that promote greater self‑reliance and community engagement.
What You’ll Do:
Build trusting, person‑centered relationships with participants and families.
Support individuals in achieving their Person‑Centered Plans (PCPs) through activities that build social, vocational, and communication skills.
Implement skill‑building strategies in daily living, self‑advocacy, academics, motor development, and more.
Assist with mobility training and personal care, when needed.
Provide community‑based support and drive participants using League vehicles.
Track progress, behaviors, and engagement using our digital systems (iCare).
Be a role model of The League’s Core Values: Accountability, Participant Focus, Quality, Independence, and Mutual Respect.
What You Bring:
A heart for service and a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.
High school diploma or GED (Associate’s degree in a related field preferred).
At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental/behavioral disabilities.
A valid driver’s license, 2 years of driving experience, and a clean record (no more than 3 points).
Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency (Word, Outlook, data entry).
