Inside Sales Representative – Lincolnshire, IL (Hybrid)
Join Klein Tools, a leader in high‑quality tool manufacturing, as an Inside Sales Representative. The role supports our Heavy Infrastructure field sales team, providing technical information, generating sales reports, developing marketing materials, and attending trade events to drive new product adoption.
Job Responsibilities
Assist end users & distributors with technical information on returns, warranties, and product information requests.
Support field sales operations by compiling monthly sales reports, pricing data, and marketing materials.
Attend regional and national trade shows to promote the channel.
Collaborate with distributors to grow current product mix.
Provide technical training for distributor sales representatives.
Work on end‑user pricing bids.
Analyze market trends in the industry.
Travel approximately 25% of the time (about one week per month) to North America.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time across North America.
Professional, competent, and credible in sales account visits.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Sense of urgency and adaptability to changing market demands.
Excellent verbal, written, and analytical communication skills.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Physical Demand Requirements The position requires occasional standing, walking, or sitting, hand usage, light lifting up to 25 pounds, and basic vision abilities such as close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Travel Requirements 25% of the time (approximately one week per month) throughout North America.
Benefits and Compensation Annual salary range: $48,000 – $55,000.
