If you excel at building relationships and exceeding goals, Kendall Hunt Publishing is looking for a driven Acquisitions Sales Representative to join our team. We’re seeking a talented professional with strong communication and sales skills to develop lasting partnerships with college professors.

This is a remote position with approximately five weeks of overnight travel per semester, working on college campuses and from home when not on campus across South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi.

Its responsibilities include interviewing, listening for business potential, and persuading select candidates to work with your company. As an Acquisitions Sales Representative, you are the driver and decision maker. You call and travel to different colleges and universities in your territory to identify business opportunities, interview professors, and persuade author candidates that have what it takes to become Kendall Hunt authors. You partner with talented educators in charge of lower-level, higher-enrollment courses to develop interactive and engaging materials that solve the needs of their students.

Has a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record per the company’s corporate driving policy.
