Inside Sales Representative – The Macomb Group
The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, is looking for a full‑time Inside Sales Representative with mechanical and industrial piping experience to prepare quotations and handle inside and counter sales responsibilities at our Midland, Michigan location.
Responsibilities
Answer phones
Take orders from customers over the phone
Provide status of previous orders
Prepare quotations and bids
Computer entry
Purchase non‑stock items and backorders
Coordinate sales orders
Provide professional customer service
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One or two years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of both preferred
Demonstrated trade experience and knowledge of mechanical and industrial piping applications
Ability to project professionalism in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills
Motivated team player who takes initiative
Work Setting Monday – Friday, day shift.
