Job Overview
As a Sales Advisor, you will provide excellent customer service, welcome and guide customers through the store to actively sell our products, and support customers with guidance and information. You will use your fashion and product knowledge to give customers relevant information for the best experience, work on garment refill and care, presentation, and maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house while working closely with your store team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service: welcome and guide customers and support them with direct service.
Engage and converse with customers to provide excellent service.
Guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products in all store areas.
Effectively promote and sell our products.
Actively promote the Customer Loyalty App and in‑store sustainability initiatives.
Represent the H&M brand positively during all interactions.
Support commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with store management.
Fashion & Trend Awareness
Keep up‑to‑date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers.
Use product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers.
Team & Development
Share service, fashion and store operations knowledge with colleagues.
Follow all procedures, routines and legal requirements in all store areas.
Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn, develop and support each other.
Participate in onboarding, introduction processes, trainings and courses relevant to the role and future development.
Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
Complete full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming, ensuring good garment care.
Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practice and processes.
Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house including stockrooms.
Support garment presentation, execution and maintain attractive merchandise displays, clear trends and stories following visual and commercial guidelines.
Maintain good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor.
Uphold best practice for in‑store OMNI services and tech tools.
Support opening and closing of the store.
Follow all H&S guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role.
Qualifications
Passion for fashion and the H&M store experience.
Motivation to give customers a great experience.
Communicative, creative, curious, motivated, flexible, decisive and action‑oriented.
Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Sales experience in a dynamic, collaborative setting that applies to this role.
Experience with customer service in fashion, retail or other service‑related industries.
