We are seeking a high-performing
Regional Manager - Commercial Roofing
to lead and expand commercial roofing and sheet metal operations across a defined territory. This is a critical leadership role responsible for building a regional branch from the ground up while driving operational excellence, financial performance, and team development.
The
Regional Manager - Commercial Roofing
will serve as the operational leader for the region—setting direction, mentoring leaders, and ensuring all projects, teams, and financial outcomes align with company standards and long-term growth objectives.
As
Regional Manager - Commercial Roofing , you will oversee day-to-day operations across multiple job sites and offices while owning full regional P&L. You will work closely with executive leadership to implement operational strategies, achieve financial targets, and build scalable systems that support sustainable growth.
This role requires frequent travel, strong leadership presence, and the ability to balance field execution with high-level operational planning.
Key Responsibilities
Lead regional operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
Build, launch, and grow a regional branch, including staffing, workflows, and operational structure.
Own full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and profitability.
Translate company vision into actionable regional goals and align business unit performance with corporate objectives.
Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to superintendents, project managers, and field leaders.
Establish and enforce operational standards related to safety, quality, scheduling, and productivity.
Monitor daily field activity and review reports related to progress, compliance, and performance risks.
Review and analyze financial statements, job cost reports, labor productivity, and overhead performance.
Conduct cost analysis on labor, materials, and equipment; support estimating and pricing strategies.
Approve staffing plans, project budgets, cost-control measures, and resource allocations.
Attend preconstruction meetings, progress meetings, and leadership planning sessions.
Ensure shop drawings, specifications, and manufacturer requirements are properly executed in the field.
Coordinate with suppliers, general contractors, and other trades to maintain schedules and quality.
Promote collaboration and communication across teams to support consistency and accountability.
Identify training needs and support development programs for emerging leaders.
Monitor market conditions and industry trends to recommend operational improvements.
Present performance updates, KPIs, and regional metrics to executive leadership.
Support companywide initiatives and contribute to broader operational strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years of experience in commercial roofing, with leadership or multi-project oversight experience.
Experience managing financial performance, budgets, and cost controls.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Windows-based systems, and AutoCAD.
Comfortable working at heights and navigating active construction environments.
Valid driver’s license.
