Overview
International Trade Compliance Manager to lead and maintain our global export compliance program. This person will be the subject matter expert on export controls for the firm.
Base Pay Range $160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
Responsibilities The role involves:
Developing, enhancing and maintaining the export compliance program for the firm.
Provide expert guidance on Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and other international trade regulations.
Interface with government agencies on compliance matters.
Deliver training and ongoing guidance on export compliance requirements.
Monitor regulatory changes and update internal procedures to ensure continued compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; JD or Master’s in Business/International Trade preferred.
Minimum 7 years of experience (in-house or at a law firm) in export compliance with expertise in EAR and ITAR. Knowledge Foreign Trade Zones (FTZs) and Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) is a plus.
Proven track record managing compliance programs in complex organizations.
Professional certification (e.g., Certified International Trade Compliance Specialist) preferred.
Experience with export compliance software.
