Large Nationwide Construction Company urgently seeks an experienced Site Manager or Superintendent. This role oversees the construction of state-of-the-art data centers and distribution warehouses. The successful candidate will manage a diverse team of construction professionals and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Salary
Base pay range: $110,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. Review and interpret project plans and specifications, making recommendations for improvements as necessary. Coordinate and supervise a team of construction workers and subcontractors, promoting a positive and productive work environment. Manage and mitigate project risks, identifying potential problems before they occur and implementing effective solutions. Ensure all construction activities comply with safety and building regulations, maintaining meticulous records of all site activities. Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or queries. Conduct site inspections and audits, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring optimal utilization and minimal waste. Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within data center or distribution warehouse construction. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations. Proficient in MEP systems with strong understanding of data center infrastructure. Experience managing mission-critical construction projects with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent leadership and team management skills; ability to motivate and lead a diverse team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and mitigate issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to liaise effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams. Proficient in construction management software and tools. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; certification in Construction Health and Safety a plus. Additional Details
