Piping Estimator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Piping Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs related to piping projects, ensuring that budgets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This role is crucial in the planning and execution of pipeline construction projects across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for piping and pipeline construction projects.
Perform material takeoffs and analyze project specifications to determine pricing.
Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and ensure project profitability.
Review construction drawings and provide feedback regarding potential cost implications.
Assist in the development of project schedules and resource allocation plans.
Conduct cost analysis and support negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare and maintain documentation related to estimates and budgets.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience as an estimator in the piping or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost estimation, and project management principles.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
Familiarity with industrial piping systems and pipeline construction techniques.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
