Business Development Representative – HVAC Service Sales Representative

Unitemp has over 50 years of experience as the leading commercial and industrial HVAC provider in New Jersey and New York. We provide heating, air conditioning, and ventilation solutions to meet the needs of facilities and their people.

We are seeking an experienced B2B sales professional to set new commercial and industrial HVAC preventive maintenance qualified sales leads in the assigned territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Generate new customer qualified sales leads by identifying and developing business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, referrals, mailers, and social media.

Work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Representatives to develop and implement prospecting strategies.

Identify, assess, and initiate contact with potential customers.

Conduct high volume prospecting to qualify leads via calls, emails, and social media.

Schedule opportunity leads/assessment and discovery meetings for Sales Representatives.

Meet the weekly sales activity goal: phone calls, contacts made, qualified leads set, marketing mailers sent.

Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned.

Collaborate with the sales team to qualify and engage target customers.

Utilize prospecting and research tools including email, phone, social media, lists, and coordinate with assigned reps.

Regularly maintain and enter activity and campaign effectiveness in the CRM system.

Qualifications

Energetic, goal-driven, and motivated with a drive to develop new business relationships.

Proven ability to achieve sales targets.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, organization, and customer communication.

Positive attitude and commitment to professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.

Ability to work independently as well as successfully with the sales team.

Experience utilizing a CRM.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits Base salary starting at $65,000 plus commission. Car allowance, EZPass, gas card. First year on-target earnings (OTE) $100,000–$110,000+.
